August 2nd 2008 - INDIANAPOLIS METAL FEST RETURNS THIS SEPTEMBER - Following a successful 2007 debut, the Indianapolis Metal Fest is returning this September 26 and 27 to prove itself as the Midwest’s premiere metal festival. The festival includes an assortment of headliner-status and personally-chosen unsigned artists, including three bands that will be making their U.S. debuts. According to Blabbermouth.com, Gorgoroth frontman Gaahl is investing in a new clothing line for women. He says the line-up will ?bring out the elegant and the feminine in women.?
Gaahl will be collaborating with Norwegian modeling agent Dan DeVero, who told a Norwegian website that he had a ?strong relationship? with the super-satanic singer. The line will be called *Wynjo, *an old Norse word for the pursuit of happiness.
Gaahl, whose real name is Kristian Espidal, says that investing in a fashion line is not such a strange thing for him to do. ?Those who know me in private didn?t think it was particularly strange. I do not care what people in general think.

UNEARTH COMPLETES WORK ON NEW ALBUM ‘THE MARCH’: ANNOUNCES U.S. HEADLINING TOUR
Month-long trek to feature support from Protest the Hero, The Acacia Strain, Whitechapel and more
Influential metal quintet UNEARTH has completed work on its new album. Entitled The March, the record is scheduled to drop on October 14 via Metal Blade Records.
The March was recorded at both MA’s System Recording Studios and Zing Studios with producer Adam Dutkiewicz. The album is said to feature UNEARTH’s “most dynamic material to date,” combining strong tension and release, abundant guitar solos and a bulldozing power-groove.
On the topic of the new album, UNEARTH front man Trevor Phipps states, “”The March” symbolizes both the evil and hopeful sides of humanity. The Evil: With the constant balancing act of power within government, religion and our financial institutions, there lies the chance of those most hungry for power to alter and restrict our freedoms for their gain. The Hopeful: This represents the faith in mankind as the most powerful force on the planet. If we come together and do not fight over religion, class and borders then we hold the key to a peaceful world. There are two possible futures in store; either a March of power and greed or a March of a unified human race.”

In late August, UNEARTH will perform two live shows in Anchorage, AK. Immediately following, the band will perform amongst the featured acts at Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival, where they will share the stage with a diverse range of artists including The Black Keys, Beck, Man Man, Battles and more. Bumbershoot is an international music and arts festival held annually in Seattle, Washington. One of North America’s largest such festivals, it takes place every Labor Day weekend at the 74-acre Seattle Center, which was originally built for the 1962 World’s Fair.

On July 27, 2008 Finger Eleven, 40 select fans, and a professional film crew descended on the Brick Works in Toronto to shoot the band?s creative take of their current single /?Talking to the Walls.?/ The strategic set-up enabled fans and crew to capture a stunning array of footage from 40 different perspectives, allowing for virtually unlimited variations on the band?s performance.

July 30^th, 2008 – LOS ANGELES – Beginning on August 4th, legendary band Foreigner will make stops in Los Angeles and New York to promote their national tour and new Greatest Hits album, No End in Sight: The Very Best of Foreigner, which was released by Rhino Records on July 15th. The disc features 32 tracks, including all the band’s #1 hits, in addition to new live recordings and "Too Late," their first new single in more than a decade.

Foreigner’s first stop will be at the Key Club on Monday, August 4th, where

95.5 KLOS’ "Mark and Brian in the Morning" show will host a live performance by the band. The "Mark and Brian in the Morning" show is also offering fans the opportunity to call in and win tickets to Foreigner’s live performance. Fans who cannot attend in person can listen in to the show by tuning into 95.5 KLOS on August 4th from 8:30-10:00 am PST. "No End in Sight: The Very Best of Foreigner" is a fist-pumping romp through the band’s music (1977-present), from hard rocking early hits ("Cold As Ice," "Double Vision," "Hot Blooded," "Feels Like The First Time") and classic cuts ("I Want To Know What Love Is," "Dirty White Boy," "Head Games," "Urgent") to later gems. In addition to the parade of hits, the collection is bolstered with the new recording "Too Late," and a new acoustic version of "Say You Will," as well as recent in-concert recordings of "Starrider" and the medley "Juke Box Hero/Whole Lotta Love." The band recently wrapped up a co-headlining tour with Bryan Adams, and will continue to tour nationally throughout the fall.
