Led Zeppelin reunion tour may not happen Jimmy Page does thankless speech for Robert Plant
THAT LED ZEP reunion tour is getting further and further away from happening, due to a speech by JIMMY PAGE going down like a lead balloon.
ROBERT PLANT is furious his riff-slinging partner failed to thank him as he collected their gong at June’s MOJO Honours bash.
The Best Live Act award recognised their triumph at the O2 last December but Mercury-nominee Plant was on tour with his musical partner ALISON KRAUSS, so could not attend.
During his lengthy acceptance speech, Page did not refer to Plant once.
A source said: “Robert was really disappointed that he didn’t merit a mention. The award was for the band’s performance, so he thought he should have at least been thanked.”

Tommy Lee of touring Motley Crue is desperately wants Johnny Depp to play him in movie
Motley Crue rocker Tommy Lee desperately wants Johnny Depp to portray him in a movie based on the former’s band.
Lee, who has two children with ex-wife Pamela Anderson, insists Oscar-nominated Depp would be the perfect choice to play him, reports China Daily .
"Johnny Depp would be my choice to play me. He’’s the best ever," Tommy Lee said.
Lee also stated that he is presently in talks with movie producers to begin the shooting of the film based on his band Montley Crue.
"We’re working on it. Trying to find the right producers and director and all that sort of stuff!" Lee said.
Lee, who recently reconciled with ex-wife Pamela, has naked pictures of Anderson on his cell phone.
"Lee is as proud to be Pammie’s man as he was when they first got together. Pammie may be 41 but she still looks every inch the Playboy bunny she was and Tommy has the proof. If you’re really nice to him, apparently he’ll even show you!" a friend of the rocker said.

So now Robert Plant is mad at Jimmy Page over this potential Led Zeppelin reunion tour
Reports claim Robert Plant and Jimmy Page have fallen out and this is the real reason why Led Zeppelin haven’t reformed fully for a reunion tour.
According to rumours, the rift began after Page didn’t acknowledge Plant when he collected an award on behalf of the band for ‘Best Live Act’ at the Mojo Awards. Plant couldn’t be there himself as he was on tour with Alison Krauss at the time.
A source tells The Sun: "Robert was really disappointed that he didn’t merit a mention. The award was for the band’s performance, so he thought he should have at least been thanked."
Since Led Zeppelin reformed for a one-off London show in December of last year at the O2 Arena, rumours have suggested the band are considering a full world tour.
