In an interview, Lars Ulrich, wants to do albums for kids so they stay interested in music. Face it. Metallica want to do it to keep the kiddies buying Metallica albums instead of pirating them. So we need to be involved with some charity to make that happen? I did not hear them talk about this charity when they lost against their fans in the old prime Napster days. What made them love internet all of the sudden? Youtube? Who knows? Remember, it keeps your brand alive not just in records and touring dudes.

“I have a 10-year-old, a seven-year-old and started realizing that this was actually a great way for them to be exposed to music,” reflected 45 year-old Ulrich.

“That was what we in Metallica’s world call a no-brainer,” said Ulrich. “That was one of those decisions that took about 12 seconds to facilitate.”

“We were involved in terms of song selection, in terms of graphics, in terms of storylines. We were very hands on in all those areas … I sat down and approached it like a show - a set list,” explained Ulrich.

Axl Rose of Guns N Roses bashes Slash and Guitar Hero even though he probably doesn’t play

Axl Rose of Guns N Roses bashes Slash and Guitar Hero even though he probably doesn’t play

Gee. I saw Mick Jagger of the Stones try to play on stage. It just looks weird. Axl sing. Slash plays. That is how I remember it. Anyhow, so now we need to know how Axl Rose can be justified in bashing his guitar player for making a little extra cash. Here is his open letter to the world:

“Him [Slash] being [in] ‘Guitar Hero’’s fine but not when Activison is using ‘…Jungle’… unauthorized,” he wrote in the garbled letter.

“I wasn’t broadsided,” he continued. “I read about it as it moved along but Activision continually denied it right up to the release. That’s some low life chicanery on all their parts.

“Yes, Slash was in Guns and on ‘…Jungle’ and he has rights to perform it, but not to be represented in this context in association with Guns. And since they weren’t granted the license it’ll take some sorting.”

We need to interview poor Bret Michaels about his poor old Rock of Love TV show

December 18, 2008

I cannot stop laughing at this show. How many times do we have to watch Bret Michaels bang (most likely) strippers who want their fame in the hopes of finding love. Is this guy that much of a dufus who cannot genuinely find love? Here is an email from their PR firm:

My name is _, last year I did show recaps for the Rock of Love show that were posted at www.heavymetalmusic.biz.  I am interested in once again posting for the new ROL (starting 1/4/09).  I am not looking for compensation, just a place to get my work displayed, and give your viewers a unique look into the show and hopefully a laugh.

Our response is:
You bet we get a good laugh. We just read about Bretty Boy in the news and how he is not some sleazy bachelor. Good enough for me! Hahahahaha. We are only interested in talking to the guy directly to ask him.

Dude, get ready to rock! Eddie Van Halen readies his new line of guitars!

December 18, 2008

Eddie Van Halen might not like this brown E&Ms while on tour. He may drank himself to oblivion but there is one thing for certain. This guy is a genius when it comes to his guitar playing. Outside of legendrary hooks of early Van Halen with maniac Diamond Dave, Eddie is for certain going to do well with his line of new guitars.

“A guitar is a very personal extension of the person playing it. You have to be emotionally and spiritually connected to your instrument. I could have just stayed at home and built this guitar for myself. I do this because a lot of people ask if they can get what I use. Well, yes you can and what you get is identical to what I use,” commented Eddie. “From the basics of the guitar to painstaking aspects like the binding and everything else–we re-did everything on this guitar.
“Every aspect and component of this guitar has been examined and upgraded to the highest standards possible: stainless steel frets, double-potted custom-wound pickups, five-piece binding on the matching body and headstock, custom-made signature tuning machines and Floyd Rose(R) bridge, new low-friction pots, and the list keeps going … we left no stone unturned,” said Eddie. “Everything that I’ve built, destroyed, stumbled onto, learned and experienced is in this guitar.”

Dude, get ready to rock! And of course, don’t by cheaply made guitars made in China.

It’s back! Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue biggest scumbag in LA? Pour it on baby!!

December 17, 2008

Wake up, fantards. “Nikki’s” children are very emotionally distraught from his mental abuse towards them, and he DOES hit women. He is a very good abuser/manipulator who controls with extreme fear, and only has gullible people in his life. I DO know this personally. He IS one of THE biggest scumbags in LA, and that is quite a feat. He is the coldest person I have ever met, and a great liar, but not for long, because many in his camp are not willing to stay silent anymore.
