Iron Maiden does interviews in Decible and Metal Edge
Maiden have extensive cover features out now in US magazines Decibel and Metal Edge which you may wish to check out if you live in the States. Metal Edge is mainly around the tour and Decibel has a very accurate and interesting feature on the making of Live After Death album and video. They call it the "greatest live metal album of all time" and who are we to argue!! And watch out for Revolver coming soon with a feature joining us in NJ and Toronto last March..

Nine Inch Nails promise to unveil band fan site component for free

Nine Inch Nails promise to unveil band fan site component for free
Unlike other bands who like to do money grabs online from their fans wherever they can, NIN are doing it for free. Good on them.
11 April 2008: nin.com, the spiral, pre-sales
We have been busy preparing a much-improved online experience for nin.com, which we will begin to unveil next month. The new nin.com will incorporate much of the interactivity and benefits presently offered on The Spiral, but a paid membership will no longer be required. A free nin.com account will be all that is needed to access the features of the new site, and The Spiral in its current form will no longer remain active. As we get closer to the upgrade, we’ll be making more information available to existing Spiral members to better prepare for the transition to the new site.
Ticket pre-sales will still be available on the new site - all nin.com members will have the opportunity to pre-purchase great seats on a per-show basis. Details will be forthcoming with ample time before on-sale dates.
For right now, you can become a nin.com member by registering at remix.nin.com - if you’re a Spiral member, your existing username and password will be preserved on the new site, as it is on the remix site.
We’re very excited to begin offering a wide range of improved interactivity to all nine inch nails fans, all for free.

CRYPTOPSY Posts New Track Online; Prepares For Summer Slaughter Tour
The unstoppable Montreal killing machine, CRYPTOPSY, has wreaked havoc throughout the extreme metal genre for more than a decade, but in 2008 the band has returned stronger than ever. CRYPTOPSY have ultimately crafted their career defining release, The Unspoken King, which could quite possibly also be their most brutal, yet dynamic offering. A blistering new track “Worship Your Demons” can currently be streamed on the band’s revamped MySpace page (www.myspace.com/cryptopsy), so head over now to check out the insanity for yourself.
Mounier states: We as a band have, since the beginning, been experimenting and trying to come up with music that is fresh and new. This album is no different. So mundane to us is music with no purpose, no feeling and just plain repetitive. It was time for CRYPTOPSY to acquire new blood that would play out a vision we’ve seen for years. We took an approach that gives our music a huge dynamic range and brings out its power. Brutality, diversity, complexity, emotion and musicianship define this latest work.”
CRYPTOPSY kicks off the worldwide touring cycle for The Unspoken King as part of this year’s crushing Summer Slaughter touring package, which features the finest acts in the genre today. Click the link below for the complete list of band’s and touring schedule.

Reinventing and redefining metal’s boundaries, CRYPTOPSY, recognized worldwide for infusing extreme music with awe-inspiring precision, rabidly dynamic rhythms and mouth-foaming viciousness, have earned music fans respect inside and outside the metal community. The band’s viperous recordings and punishing live performance have confirmed their place in music’s elite.
In 2008, CRYPTOPSY returns to redefine the boundaries of technical extreme metal with an album that is sure to catch the attention of the entire scene.
