_*MUNICIPAL WASTE - DAVE WITTE SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN 88BOADRUM SPONSORED BY NIKE*_
*MUNICIPAL WASTE* drummer *Dave Witte* has been selected as one of 88 drummers who will participate in the Brooklyn portion of *88BoaDrum*, sponsored by *Nike*.
Conceived by the Japanese psych-noise group, *BOREDOMS*, *88BoaDrum* is an original 88-minute composition that will be performed by 88 drummers in Los Angeles, CA and Brooklyn, NY on August 8th, 2008 (8/8/08). The bi-coastal performances of *88BoaDrum* will be sponsored by *Nike* who will be giving away limited-edition, hand-screened t-shirts to members of the audience.
Each drummer was hand-picked by *BOREDOMS *and *Dave Witte* has the distinction of being the only metal drummer out of the 88 selected, making his participation all the more prestigious. Taken aback by the honor, *Dave Witte* stated very simply, /”I’m a lucky dog.”/
