Guitarist Rob Cavestany and Ted Aguilar, of the legendary San Francisco Bay Area Thrashers DEATH ANGEL, recently participate in a Q&A session with MetalKult.com. The guitarists get current on all things DEATH ANGEL, including their involvement in the Eighties Bay Area scene with EXODUS and METALLICA, their landmark releases The Ultra-Violence and Act III, the tragic 1990 bus accident that nearly tore the band apart, and the quality musicianship that has always been central to DEATH ANGEL’s music. DEATH ANGEL recently completed their first US tour in first years, their “In Thrash We Trust” tour with GOD FORBID, SOILENT GREEN, ARSIS and LIGHT THIS CITY.

Released on February 26, 2008 via Nuclear Blast Records, “Killing Season” sold approximately 2,300 copies in the United States in its first week of release according to Nielsen SoundScan. The album was recorded at Studio 606 in Northridge, California with producer Nick Raskulinecz, who has previously worked with FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH, VELVET REVOLVER, SHADOWS FALL and STONE SOUR, among other acts.
