Didn’t get close enough to Bret Michaels during his Mardi Gras concert at Universal Studios? You have another opportunity at this month’s Velvet Sessions at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The event is May 29 and costs $50. For that you get finger foods and specified specialty drinks from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Concert time right there in the hotel lobby is 8:30, at which time the cash bar kicks in. (Parking is free).

Michaels, best known as a member of Poison, is expected to play hits "Talk Dirty to Me," "Nothin’ but a Good Time," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Fallen Angel" and "Unskinny Bop."
