Here is the Rock of Love 2 music video raging party in Vegas with Bret Michaels
Every week Poison frontman Bret Michaels searches for a worthy life partner on Rock of Love 2, while Rock Daily searches for ways to reference “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” in our Rock Reality Show Recaps. Here’s our take on episode ten:
Sixty Minutes of Rockin’ Reality in One Sentence: The final four women vying for Bret Michaels’ heart travel to Las Vegas for two extremely un-Sin City-like dates: golf and a steak dinner. Fortunately, Heather comes along to stir up drama (and the drinks), and by the end of the trip nobody trusts Daisy, and Michaels thinks Destiney can’t manage her anger and Jessica can’t handle hard living. Bottom line: more tears and Oscar de la Hoya references than last year’s pukey jaunt.
Did Every Rose Have Its Thorn?: Only in the sense that a reference to Poison’s C.C. DeVille pricked Michaels’ pride. Daisy (who is Oscar de la Hoya’s niece, she’ll have you know) admitted to having had some sort of relationship with the band’s gravel-throated guitarist a few years ago, and Michaels’ reaction indicated this was a no-no.
The Most Ridiculous Part: Thanks to the reappearance of drink-throwing Heather, there were many (a key scene involved her teasing Jessica and Destiney’s hair to epic heights, then telling the camera that even she knows Eighties hair is out now). But then there was Ambre, who went all Suze Orman on Daisy at dinner with Bret, demanding to know how she pays for her breast implants and her rent.
The Rockin’ Finish: Things looked bleak for Daisy — who looked even bleaker as tears poured down over her uber-puffed lips — but Jessica’s perceived naiveté finally did her in, and Bret left himself with quite the final three — a stripper, a groupie and Ambre.
How are Iron Maiden and Guns N Roses part of the top 5 tour fights of all time?

How are Iron Maiden and Guns N Roses part of the top 5 tour fights of all time?
UK’s Q Magazine has listed the Top 5: Onstage Fights. Included are GUNS N’ ROSES and IRON MAIDEN. Click below to read the background:
Guns N’ Roses – St Louis Riots, 1991
The mother of all onstage fights? When Axl Rose jumped into the crowd at the Riverport Amphitheater in Maryland Heights, Missouri to confront somebody illegally filming the concert, he couldn’t have imagined the scale of the consequences of his actions. What began as a tussle in the mosh triggered a riot that, like Rose’s ego some years on, would spiral rapidly out of control.
Iron Maiden – Location and date unknown
Less a scrap than a hilarious stand-off. Somebody in the crowd annoys then Iron Maiden singer Blaze during a performance of The Trooper. Cue mad eyed stares from Blaze during the song, followed by a profanity-filled outburt at the end. “Anyone else?” he asks menacingly? Not us, thanks.

Do you really think Axl Rose and Guns N Roses will release this Chinese Democracy album really soon?

Do you really think Axl Rose and Guns N Roses will release this Chinese Democracy album really soon?
Could the forever-delayed Guns N’ Roses finally be coming out soon?
According to an announcement on the band’s official website, Axl Rose and company are “in negotiations” to finally release “Chinese Democracy.”
The posting claims that new management is now in place, but did not give further details a possible release date.
“Chinese Democracy,” which has been a decade in the making, was last scheduled to be released by Interscope in March 2007.

Is this Green Day side project Foxboro Hottubs going to be the album of the summer?

Is this Green Day side project Foxboro Hottubs going to be the album of the summer?
It looks like Green Day has gotten an early jump on what could be the album of the summer. They just don’t want any credit for it.
In similar fashion to when they transformed themselves from pop-punk also-rans (it was Time of Your Life’s fault, really) into vitriolic, rock opera composers getting heaps of praise, the band has uprooted their identity again.
The trio released their latest album Stop Drop and Roll online Tuesday. Only you won’t see the Green Day stamp anywhere on it — this time around they’re working under the pseudonym Foxboro Hottubs.
Rolling Stone reported that Foxboro apparently put a few tracks online in December but are only now owning up to the fact that it is in fact Green Day.
I checked out several of the tracks on their MySpace page this week and apart from Billie Joe Armstrong’s unmistakable voice, the band has veered off and stepped back embracing garage rock with a dash of surf. But all of it’s built to be played loud with the windows down.
Apparently well-known artists masquerading as other bands in search of a little room to breathe is the hip thing to do these days. Tom Petty has picked up the bass guitar and resurrected his band Mudcrutch from his pre-Heartbreaker days. Norah Jones even let loose her rocking (albeit soft) side with El Madmo. The band has an album due out May 29.
One hopeful thing here is that it looks like bands have learned that there’s nothing wrong with trying something new under the guise of another name — just as long as they don’t get wrapped up in compensating for something they lack. Remember Garth Brooks’ midlife crisis with the Chris Gaines thing? Nobody wants to see that again.
