Some guy claims Chinese Democracy album from Guns N Roses will be out by end of April 2008

Uh yeah right. We heard this a million times.

Finally after years of false starts and ridiculous amounts of promotion for an album few thought would ever materialise, Axl Rose has announced that the new Guns n Roses album, Chinese Democracy will finally be released by the end of April 2008. Fans have waited for more than a decade for this to happen and through many lineup changes and false started world tours. They did do a world tour (a proper one) last year and this has culminated in the release of the most eagerly anticipated album in years.
Axl Rose has spent nearly 10 million dollars getting this project finished. Many of the songs have been re-recorded dozens of times. Many different guitarists from Buckethead, Zakk Wylde and even Slash have contributed solos for songs only to have them scrapped by the enigmatic Rose. Here is a track listing for all those who have waited for so long.

I have heard some of the demo tapes but I can’t wait for the finished product to have finally been released. Lets hope Axl is still the same musical genius he always was and this is a 5 star stunner.
