Are you mad at Van Halen for cancelling tour and never getting you money back?

Ed’s in his early 50’s.

I don’t know if he’s drinking again, and I myself find it really hard to just completely

stop drinking my self… so I understand how hard it is to….

But something’s up. I don’t know if it’s Ed’s hearing, or maybe it’s a more serious neuro-muscular condition… that’s some scary, scary stuff… I just hope he’s ok…

but he’s been running himself at mach 10 for years…

Ed seems to have this inner-metronome that runs at a higher speed -than many other people… ( many musicians’ do…)

maybe the self-medicating was a way to combat the never - ending restlessness he has felt since the early days….

If people are mad at VH for cancelling shows because they never got their money back that’s one thing… but I think the shows’ will either be made up or people will, eventually, get their money back…

people’s anger? Bottom line money. And so many things in life seem to revolve around money… Until a health scare shows up… then things become a little more clear in focus…

I wish they would release a DVD of the Tour though…

I think people need to lay off untill we find out the real scoop. I mean Eddie did have cancer a few years ago. Yeah he has been having problems on tour with certain things but lots of musicans do, sometimes you can’t hear things. I know I have played certain places where ya can’t hear well that’s a fact of life.

So untill we know what’s going on for sure, let’s cut the man some slack. We love ya Ed. Get better soon.

I think someone said it best when they said “Eddie doesn’t owe you anything, if anything we owe him for the years of great rock and roll”. Be happy with every moment you can spend with Van Halen, they won’t be around forever.

Got something to say?
