Finger Eleven
“Us Vs Then Vs Now” DVD
(Wind-Up/Sony)
Finger Eleven’s “Us Vs Then Vs Now” DVD offers a retrospective look at the band, their history (dating all the way back to their stint as the Rainbow Butt Monkeys) and the group’s music videos, packaged with a rarities and b-sides album. While most b-sides albums are not much more than feeble attempts to squeeze even more money out of die-hard fans, Finger Eleven has assembled an impressive package that gives longtime fans a comprehensive look at all facets of the group. There is enough behind the scenes footage and interviews to satisfy even casual fans, but unfortunately the group failed to include all their music videos in the package. Despite this glaring omission, “Us Vs Then Vs Now” DVD is still a must have for any fan of Canada’s most impressive rock export. -James Wright
