I hate to say it but our article at:
had some merit. It was not written by me but by a new writer named Lisa. But you get some fans that just don’t understand how this band is b-o-r-i-n-g:

there’s no point to this artical. Okay, if you don’t like the band then that’s good for you. But no. You write an artical with no facts to back it up and put it on the internet. You must be jelous of their fame and/or the money they’re making. So if you dont like something or someone, the rest of the world doesnt care and if they’re so talentless, i take it you can play all those instruments better than them??
My take:
First, the spelling reveals these are pretty young kids probably under 16. That is their primary fan-base but I digress. See below about that.
As for me, I have a run a print mag for over 15 years so I have seen stuff come and go. When they brought out their first major label album, their singer went through throat surgery, Out of all the hundreds of interviews, M Shadows laid down a condition that none of my writers were not allowed to ask about that. What are we Britney or JLo? Pretty pretentious. Then you get the GNR knock off sound and band members living out their massive drug lifestyle. Boring. I have seen that before just like in many other bands.
Next you get this new release where they are selling the sucker for $10 in Hot Topic with some other free stuff. Pretty cheap I think to whore it. Geez, Maybe they are going for pure #’s to milk more out of their label. The reviews I have read have not been that favorable. When we got our copy, I did not see tonnes of my writers lining up to want to review that release. I had more writers wanting to trash than anything else. There are more people asking about their credibility thank anything else.
Live wise: They are nothing to get excited unless you are some 14 year old kid who never got to see Metallica in their prime days in the early 80s. Sorry kiddo, those days are long gone. Back then, it was genuine. We had no radio playing, no internet to promote so it was real. Anyhow, nothing original unless they are chopping off limbs. This band is just trying to live out the same feel but it is not genuine!!
All in all, I don’t see the hype. I just see them as a bunch of GNR wanna bees who won’t get there fame and fortune like GNR did. EVER! Hell, you might be lucky to see them flipping burgers in 5-10 years from now as they blow through their coin after spending it on drugs, ho’s, and Rolex watches. If you got something to say, please say it with some intelligence. If you are under 18, comment on Blabbermouth ok?

Just responding to your article. Avenged Sevenfold must be doing something right considering their sold out shows, huge fan base and great reviews on their music for the ones who really listen to it. If they are “flipping burgers” like you said in 5-10 years I’d like to see what you are doing because it sure as hell won’t be writing reviews.
You know your cool when you sit at a desk all day writing reviews and articals for a website. I’ve got to admit, you’ve made a twenty year-olds dream by making a sloppy fourty-thousand dollar a year salary. The only way i would even consider this artical a piece of work is if you honestly had the guts to present this artical and the previous artical before this to the band and sit there and listen to what they would have to say to you. Is it they’re living their dream and yoo are not? or you can’t accept the 80’s is dead
We get it. You’re old and bitter. You have been writing in some cubicle for some print mag for over 15 years, and that is the best you will ever be. Don’t knock these guys because they are living the life that people like you can only write about. We the fans find A7X to be very genuine, and it is arcticle’s like yours that we find b-o-r-i-n-g.

Hey Im not a fan. But they do have fans. So why waste your time being a Hater. Whats the point. So what if theyr inspired by GnR. Hell, I even heard that Axl was into Kiss early on. Obviously { A.S} has some talent, or they wouldnt be making and selling records

So what if A7X are GN’R wanabees? At least there good musicans with a lot of talent. Better them than Fall Out Boy. Im a bigger fan of GN’R but i do like A7X. My girlfreind is a bigger fan of A7X but she does like GN’R. We both agree that A7X are like GN’R in a lot of ways, but in my eyes A7X are the new GN’R not a bunch of wanabes. They are without a doubt the coolest and best band in modern music today. Seriously get over yourself and go and bum some wanabe scences like Fall Out Boy and dont turn around and say you are a GN’R fan because if you really was you would give A7X respect rather than dis-respect them. Grow up you ameture wanabe sissiy of a fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
