The "Unholy Alliance Tour DVD" is in stores TODAY, October 30. The
90-minute program features this year's Unholy Alliance Tour line up,
which was hailed as "the heaviest, darkest metal tour of the summer, if
not the year" - Slayer, the undisputed kings of speed metal/thrash, and
the "future of heavy metal contenders" - Lamb of God, Mastodon, Children
of Bodom and Thine Eyes Bleed.
The "Unholy Alliance Tour" DVD/CD was shot at Vancouver's General Motors
Place on July 13, 2006, was directed by Adam Rothlein (Speedway Films),
and boasts performance footage plus bonus material to include backstage,
behind-the-scenes and one-on-one interviews, many of which were
conducted by the Unholy Alliance artists themselves.
Slayer's "Eyes of the Insane," which took home a Grammy Award this year,
is included on the DVD. Other selections on the DVD include Lamb of
God's "Vigil," Mastodon's "Blood & Thunder," "Capillarian Crest," and
"Crystal Skull," Children of Bodom's "Angels Don't Kill" and "In Your
Face," and Slayer's "Angel of Death," "Dead Skin Mask," "South of
Heaven," and "Antichrist," among many others.
The Unholy Alliance Tour: Preaching To The Perverted garnered terrific
press last summer - "It's so metal, it HURTS - KKKKK (Kerrang!), "Effin'
brutal!" (OC Weekly), "...stomps, rages and screams..." (Los Angeles
Times, "...a show no metalhead should miss..." (Harder Beat), and
"...the alliance itself proved mighty" (Worcester Telegram & Gazette).

Old guitarist rejoins Deicide for new album
DEICIDE - RALPH SANTOLLA RECORDING GUITARS ON NEW ALBUM, TILL DEATH DO
US PART
Veteran guitarist, Ralph Santolla has rejoined DEICIDE and is
currently hard at work recording his guitar parts for DEICIDE's 2008
release, TILL DEATH DO US PART at Morrisound Studios in Florida.
DEICIDE had previously parted ways with Ralph Santolla back in May of
this year. Over the course of the following months, he would spend the
summer touring with OBITUARY and pushing his talent as far as it could
go. When he was asked to rejoin DEICIDE in time for the recording of
TILL DEATH DO US PART, Santolla came back to the fold as a man
possessed and he had come back, literally better than ever before.
While there will inevitably be naysayers who doubt the decision,
DEICIDE drummer, Steve Asheim insists that Ralph Santolla's return
will only strengthen the maniacal musical landscape that DEICIDE is
known for. "Ralph is really reaching towards the very depths of his
abilities to come up with something completely fresh and challenging."
Even those outside of the band have given nothing but positive
feedback on Ralph Santolla's progress during the recording sessions.
"Jim Morris came and told me that Ralph has been coming up with some
of the greatest metal riffs and licks that he's ever heard;" says
Asheim. "Ralph's really pushing his abilities to the limit, coming up
with things that he's never been able to do before."

Sebastian Bach and Gun’s N Rose’s Axl Rose gets huge response on new album
Sebastian Bach’s solo album ‘Angel Down’ has finally arrived, and it’s everything a Saturday night in a Jersey bar full of trouble should be.”
– Billboard
We’re still three weeks away from its November 20 release date, but the couple of very early reviews we’ve seen of Sebastian Bach’s first solo album in eight years, “Angel Down,” are pretty darned good. Check them out below, and if you still haven’t requested or don’t have an review copy of the album, email me back and I’ll get you one. I’ve CD cover and PR art I can email.
Also, “Back In The Saddle,” one of three tracks on “Angel Down” that features Guns N Roses’ Axl Rose on vocals, has leaked and was played a few times late last week on an active rock station in Texas. According to the station’s rep, the phones went off the hook when the song was played and it became the station’s #1 most requested track!

Cashbox Magazine
“Sporting a great Axl Rose cameo and enough guitar chops to choke a horse, Bach delivers one of the best retro-metal albums in recent time. “

‘Angel Down’ is the metal album of the year…if Axl is this hot on Bach’s album, I cannot wait to hear ‘Chinese Democracy.’

DECAPITATED INJURED IN ROAD CRASH WHILE ON TOUR
Two members of Decapitated have been seriously injured in a road accident involving their tour bus and a truck carrying wood in Gomel, on the Russia/Belarus border.
Vocalist Covan and drummer Vitek sustained serious head injuries as a result of the accident, and are to be taken 550km from Gomel to Moscow for emergency treatment.
All other members of the touring party are not reported to be seriously hurt.
Our thoughts are with all members of the tour at this time.
