DEATH ANGEL, the legendary Thrash metallers from the Bay Area, entered the studio with highly acclaimed Producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, RUSH, VELVET REVOLVER, etc.) to begin recording their new album for an early 2008 release. Norwegian Black Metal masters DIMMU BORGIR recently shot an impressive video for the track “The Sacrilegious Scorn” with renowned cover artist Joachim Luetke as creator. The track comes off the latest offering “In Sorte Diaboli”. To celebrate this, MySpace Germany, Austria and Switzerland will feature the video debut on their homepage beginning on September, 28. Finnish symphonic metal legends NIGHTWISH, who will release their brand new album “Dark Passion Play” this Friday, have announced the following tourdates. Check all dates HERE!NIGHTWISH will perform today at Delphi Showpalast in Hamburg, starts 8 pm! They have been announced as a NIGHTWISH cover band called SUSHI PATROL, but in fact the finnish superstars themselves will be there and perform their brandnew songs! Furthermore, the whole band is going to do a signing session at SATURN Hamburg, Mönkebergstraße 1 on Saturday, September 29th, which starts at 2.00 pm.

INTERVIEW WITH TJ MILLER OF STILL REMAINS
Syracuse NY – September 28, 2007 – Stephanie Stevens, aka “Romperchic”, of THE DAILY ROCK recently had the chance to chat with frontman TJ Miller of STILL REMAINS before their show at The Palladium in Worcester MA during the band’s tour w/AIDEN. T.J. was a bit broken from an exciting night onstage in
TJ, on his approach to the vocals during the writing & recording explains “I think that with this album it was more figuring out who we are but at the same time, instead of us saying we want to change this, we want to change that, it wasn’t like that, it was just us growing as musicians and singers. So, it’s one of those things where I’ve sang my whole life and I’m very passionate about singing but I’ve never had the opportunity to sing a lot with STILL REMAINS. This is my only band as I don’t have any side projects at all, so it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, in the past we haven’t really written the music where I could really experiment. This time around, the things that they were writing were more melodic and more suggestive that I could sing, so I saw a great opportunity for myself and I went for it.”
