LOCOMOTIVE TO RELEASE VII BY AT VANCE AUGUST 28
German Band ROCKS On Long-Awaited Seventh Album
New York, NY—(August 20, 2007) Locomotive Records will release VII by Germany’s At Vance on August 28. The longtime Hard Rock/Heavy Metal band has been in action since guitarist Olaf Lenk first started writing and jamming in 1996, which led to the 1998 No Escape debut. (Lenk also plays in Zed Yago.)
At Vance features the charismatic and soulful voice of Mats Leven (Yngwie Malmsteen). VII highlights include “Shiver” and “Cold As Ice,” which are both frothy with edgy guitar riffs and powerful rhythms. Lenk also had a hand in the production and mixing (with studio stalwart Mika Jussila). Longtime fans will definitely love the unleashing of VII. Newcomers to the party might also want to check out previous At Vance gems such as 2000’s Heart Of Steel, 2001’s Dragon Chaser and 2002’s Only Human with original singer Oliver Hartmann. Leven joined in time to put his personal stamp on 2003’s The Evil In You and 2005’s Chained.
